Build Your Own FREE Web Site
Join Adobe Certified Instructor (ACI) Tim Fleming as we build a working web site in just two easy lessons. Follow along as we set up our account, choose a domain name and add a design to our site. You’ll see how easy it is to add text, images and even movies! Learn how to create new pages, add a photo gallery and incorporate a blog. No technical experience is required.
We'll be using Wordpress, the world’s most popular publishing tool for web design. Students need only to have basic computer skills such as navigating the web, filling out forms, and naming and saving files. If you want to work with images, it helps to have basic knowledge of image editing (see my Photoshop classes). The class is taught on consecutive Tuesday evenings, in a lecture/lab format with a projector used for demonstrations. By the end of the class you will have the tools to publish your very own free web site.

Low Cost (and NO Cost) Do-it-Yourself Web Sites
Learn various low cost, even no cost, methods of creating your own business or personal web site. Walk through the step-by-step process of publishing your text and images on the World Wide Web. Become familiar with the different types of web sites including blogs, social networking sites like Facebook, templates and hosted sites, and the pros and cons of each one. Note: this is not an HTML or Dreamweaver class, but a survey and tutorial on the various other (low cost and free) methods of creating a web site.

One-on-One Photoshop Training
Since early 2009, I have been offering a customized one-on-one Photoshop training service. I am an Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) in Photoshop and an Adobe Certified Instructor (ACI).
The service originated following numerous requests from professional photographers and advanced hobbyists who needed post-processing assistance or digital workflow training tailored to their specific needs. These sessions can be adapted to suit anyone whose time for training is restricted by work or other commitments.
Following your initial contact, I will work with you to develop a custom Photoshop training package that will address your specific needs. Generally, you will spend the day working through a range of predetermined images from your own portfolio, and will be provided with a CD or DVD of images and examples at the end of your training. The training can take place at your location or at my studio in Petaluma. Rates start at $80 per hour.
I can also supply custom Photoshop training packages for small groups – such as camera clubs, companies, or other organizations. Small group sessions can be arranged either in Petaluma or at your choice of location.
