Photography has been a lifelong pursuit, defined by an interest in light, color, composition, wildlife, and the unexpected.

My work has been widely exhibited and has received numerous Best in Show awards and other honors. Private and institutional collections include the David and Lucile Packard Foundation in Palo Alto, California.

Subjects range from landscapes, wildlife, and travel photography to more abstract studies of form, texture, and the passage of time. I have also explored scanner photography, using a high-resolution scanner as both camera and light source to create extraordinarily detailed botanical and abstract images.

The beauty of impermanence has long fascinated me. Weathered surfaces, deteriorating buildings, fading colors, and objects altered by time appear throughout my work, particularly in Modern Ruins and Abstracts & Textures. Rather than simply documenting decay, these photographs explore what remains—and how time can transform ordinary subjects into something unexpected.

Travel has also shaped my photography, from documenting people and everyday life to my recent trip with the Kazakh eagle hunters in western Mongolia. Across these subjects, my approach remains the same: observe carefully, pay attention to details, and let the character of the subject emerge.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Photography and am an Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) in Photoshop and an Adobe Certified Instructor (ACI).
